I am a PhD in theoretical physics from the University of Warsaw, Poland. My specialization includes condensed matter theory, quantum many-body theory, strongly correlated electronic systems, dynamical mean-field theory, ab-initio density functional theory to study materials. Following my PhD I have spent several years of post-doctoral research at the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague, Jozef Stefan Institute in Slovenia, University of Duisburg in Germany before joining the University of Oldenburg.

I have also spent some months at Froschungszentrum Juelich, and University of Augsburg as a visiting researcher. In my projects I have done computational modeling and simulations of a wide range of materials in close collaboration with experimentalists starting from bulk systems to 2D materials looking into exotic properties like Mott insulators, excitonic insulators, cycloidal phonons etc.

Currently, I am working on NV defect centers in diamond structure for potential application in quantum sensing and other solid state physics problems. I am further interested in exploring the underlying physics in exotic inorganic materials, biomolecules using modern machine learning tools and quantum computing.
