The interaction between amino acids and graphene were investigated in different models, where all models yielded results within the expected range. This opens up the question of other properties in the amino acid – graphene interaction left out in this study such as self assembly. - Anders Frederiksen
Fibronectin have been observed to have a binding affinity for graphene with arginine being the best binder. Further investigation of amino acids binding affinities with graphene have confirmed arginine to be the best binder through both Molecular Dynamics and Quantum Chemical Simulations. - Anders Frederiksen
The poster shows the algorithm behind the program Pep McConst and its implementation as presented at the Topical Meeting 2020 in Kopenhagen
The Y279S mutation of the Q_o-site of the Plasmodium falciparum bc_1 complex weakens the inhibition mechanism of the ligands atovaquone and stigmatellin possibly explaining the drug resistance found related to the Y279S mutation. Topical Meeting, Copenhagen, 2020. Luise Jacobsen
The metabolic ETF enzyme may be a source of reactive oxygen species (ROS) as a byproduct. Binding of oxygen molecules near FADH2 cofactor modeled by atomistic simulations. Topical Meeting on Molecular Dynamics IV, Copenhagen, 2020. Peter Husen, Claus Nielsen, Carlos F. Martino and Ilia A. Solov'yov.
Poster presented at the Spin Chemistry Meeting 2017 in Schluchsee, Germany.
Identification of charge transfer processes leading to superoxide production in the bc1 complex
Recognition of DNA-UV damage by repair enzymes
The VIKING software platform and workflow. Poster presented at the Danish IP Fair in Copenhagen 2017.
Atomistic modeling of superoxide production in the mitochondrial bc1 protein complex. Poster presented at the annual meeting of the Danish Physical Society 2017. Peter Husen and Ilia A. Solov'yov.
Identification of charge transfer processes leading to superoxide production in the bc1 complex. Poster for the QuEBS 2016 conference by Peter Husen, Adrian Bøgh Salo and Ilia A. Solov'yov
QUEBS poster emil
Poster by Claus Nielsen and Ilia A. Solov'yov for the RIN16 conference, London, April 2016. It was also presented at the Annual Meeting in the Danish Physical Society, Middelfart, June 2016.
