From December 12 to 13, Ilia Solovyov and Jonathan Hungerland participated in the Advanced Methods in MD meeting in Copenhagen, Denmark. Jonathan presented a poster about his Master thesis emphasizing the combination of various methods from molecular mechanics and quantum chemistry to answer a scientific question. Highlights included a tutorial by Roberto Covino on AIMMD, a combination of molecular dynamics and artificial intelligence tailored to study phase transitions and a talk on REPPTIS, a tool to compute kinetics in an efficient way.
